Pre-sense -----Pre-sence is an interactive telepresence installation. This installation deals with many concepts; however the most important concept is the idea of controlling an environment from a remote location. In today’s world, technology allows us to communicate across huge distances and everyday we use this technology with out even thinking about it. Although we don’t necessarily realize it, when we communicate across large distances we have the potential to effect things as if we were right there. This installation addresses this issue through the use of remote operation and light. The installation is controlled by participants from remote locations. The viewers get to see the actions of the remote participants translated through various sequences and color of light.
